So supposing that I were to do a webcomic starring the Patriots (the MGS secret government-controlling organization, not the football team)...should I wait until after Peace Walker comes out, or start it this winter and risk having everything turn out to be completely non-canonical from the start?

I mean, I'm intending it to be sort of goofy along the lines of The Last Days of FOXHOUND, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to hew as closely to canon as possible while still being ridiculous. (Because come on, this is Metal Gear, you can't really get any more ridiculous than canon.) It's not really that big a deal, I'd just prefer to not start something and then find out that I've written myself into an AU.

Also I am dead serious about this too, because I have been spending the past couple weeks teaching myself how to draw all the members...

(lol and I'm doing this because I am still too lazy to ever get around to working on any of my ideas for original webcomics outside of the planning stages and carrying massive amounts of info around in my head. I think it's because I keep waiting until I get better at drawing to start anything, but I'm thinking maybe I should just start now and let the art catch up later, idk.)
